Android Auto is a simple way to use your Android phone in your car. The receiver combines an intuitive voice-controlled interface with a large touchscreen and superior sound quality, so customers can enjoy features including Google Maps, Spotify and more. Wireless connection is available on compatible Android phones.

Wireless Mirroring for Android

Wireless Mirroring is a ground-breaking solution for seamlessly displaying and controlling your smartphone apps on the receiver's large screen, without cables or a network connection. The feature is only compatible on Android phones.

DAB Radio+

DAB+ provides crystal-clear audio quality and interference-free reception. It uses a more efficient coding system to transmit digital data, so more stations broadcast on the same frequency and show information such as the station name, logo, presenter, song title and artwork.

Bluetooth

Make and receive phone calls on the move with a touch of a button, switch between phones. Up to five devices can be paired at the same time. You can initiate calls, play music or perform other tasks just by speaking voice comments - allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and concentrate on the road ahead.

Kenwood Remote App S

With this smartphone application, you can control most basic functions over the Bluetooth of a paired phone (either an iPhone or Android device). Click here to learn more.

High-Resolution Audio

This high-quality sound far exceeds compact-disc standard, you can play 192kHz/24-bit audio files. It captures and beautifully expresses details and nuances from the ultra-high to low frequencies. Hi-Res Audio can digitise and store the sound in more detail than a compact-disc, so the sound is closer to the original studio recording.

Four Camera Inputs

These camera inputs allow the best in convenience, flexibility, and safety when driving. You can connect a front camera, dash camera (sold seperately, click here to learn more), rear and side blind spot cameras. It also supports several other configurations, you can change the camera view on the receiver's large screen.

High Definition Rear / Front Camera Input

The optional CMOS-740HD camera, which can be used as either a rear or front-view camera, provides a sharp 180° wide-angle image on the receiver's large screen. This will reduce the blind spot behind your vehicle and help you park safely.

Steering controls, climatronic, heated seats and parking sensor display still display if factory-fitted on the vehicle.

• Factory reverse camera retention lead is built into the wiring kit loom.
• SOS and E-Call buttons in the roof are retained and work as intended.
• USB-C sockets (x2) in the dash work independently for charging and for audio playback.
• Factory vehicle menus are now displayed on the Kenwood screen and controlled through button presses on the steering wheel.
• Steering controls retained - Volume, Track, Call Answer, Call End/Reject.
• DAB and FM antenna adapters are included in the loom to use factory antennas.
• To fit this accessory, it is necessary to make a small modification cut to the dashboard frame behind the radio, click here.
• This unit does not have built-in navigation, CD or DVD player.
• Not compatible with Active Info Display (Virtual Cockpit).
